Your Tasks

GMH Gruppe plans to further expand its presence in the North American market. As Business Development Manager North America, you will be largely responsible for identifying potential acquisition targets that can be successfully integrated into the GMH Group and further strengthen our market position.

  • Market analyses: Gathering and evaluating information on the market environment of our core business areas Circular Economy, Green Steel and Heavy Forging in the North America region
  • M&A strategy: Identification of specific inorganic growth options for integration into GMH Gruppe
  • Network building: Establishing contact with potential M&A targets via local banks / M&A consultancies, existing customer contacts and by participating in trade fairs and other events
  • Strategic co-design: Active participation in the strategic orientation of GMH Gruppe as a sparring partner and source of inspiration for top management and the Supervisory Board. Direct reporting line to the Director Strategy

Your Profile

  • American citizenship
  • Degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or comparable qualification
  • At least two to five years of practical experience in the metal processing industry (or management consultancy), preferably in sales
  • High willingness to travel and, if necessary, relocate within North America
  • Strong analytical skills as well as logical and structured thinking
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Absolute flexibility and international mobility
  • Intercultural competence and high adaptability
